Reviews and Ratings
I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were well-maintained and kept clean, but some aspects like the air conditioning and worn furniture were noticeable. The service was friendly overall, but there were moments of coldness at the front desk. The location was convenient for tourist activities but a bit far from the main town center. Overall, it was a decent stay with some room for improvement.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel. The rooms were cozy and had a small balcony that I adored, plus being away from the street made it peaceful. The only downside was that my west-facing room didn't cool down until late in the evening, and the street view was a bit awkward.
The hotel wing without elevators provided basic accommodation with a view of the Floyen funicular, suitable for a short stay. However, the rooms were small and old resembling a student dormitory.
The hotel has a great location close to all Bergen has to offer, with clean and comfortable rooms and very friendly and helpful service. The dining experience offers good options, although the location is not ideal for those relying on Central Station.
My stay at this hotel was a mixed experience. The room had a balcony with a chair, providing a nice view of the city, but it felt more like a hostel room than a proper hotel room. Although an extra bed was available, it was super cold when we first arrived. The service was excellent, with staff being very friendly and helpful. The location was quite large and airy, allowing for a pleasant time, but it was a bit of a walk from the center. The dining experience offered good quality food with plenty of choices, but it ended early on Sundays. Overall, a decent stay with positives and negatives.
My stay at the hotel was pleasant overall. The rooms were comfortable, neat, and clean, although lacking in drinks facilities and elevator access. The service was excellent, with friendly and helpful staff. The location was amazing, making it easy to explore Bergen. The dining experience was better than average, offering well-organized and tasty meals. The facilities were sufficient for a comfortable stay.
The hotel had small rooms by USA standards but they were clean and had all the necessary amenities. Although there was a bed smell and they tended to be a little too warm, the room was very quiet, facing away from the street, and conveniently close to all the attractions and the Hortigruten terminal.
